One question asked by aspirants for the UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS is How Many Students Will UNILAG Admit this year? Over the years, the number of students UNILAG admits has been increasing. This is due to the introduction of new Faculties and Departments.

Every year, 90,000 students apply to UNILAG. But the UNILAG admission board usually considers applicants based on some specific criteria. This include:

  • Catchment Areas
  • JAMB Score
  • SSCE (WAEC/NECO) Results
  • Post UTME Score, e.t.c.

The UNILAG admission list contains names of all students that have been offered admission to study various courses at the UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS. So, let’s answer your question.

How Many Students will UNILAG Admit this Year?

It is important to note that out of the 40,000 people that apply to the UNILAG and sit for the POST UTME Examination, UNILAG will only admit 10,000 of these Students this Year. Those considered for admission into the UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS will be only those who scored 200 and above in JAMB and sat for the Post UTME.

How to Gain Admission into UNILAG

  1. Make sure you score high above 200 in your JAMB UTME Examination
  2. Perform well in your SSCE examinations by getting credits in all your relevant subjects.
  3. Join a serious UNILAG Admission Group
  4. Buy and Study UNILAG Post UTME Past Questions from 2010 till date
  5. Check UNILAG Cut Off Mark for All Courses and know the cut-off mark for the course you are applying for.
  6. Define your target and start practising and working towards it diligently.
  7. Keep your ears open and be informed about the latest updates and admission news in UNILAG. You can contact us for that
  8. When you are filling your POST UTME Form, put in your major choice course as your first choice while your second choice should be a course related to it. E.g. Mechanical and Production Engineering. Do not fill in the same course twice to be on the safer side.
