One question asked by aspirants for the UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN is How Many Students Will UNILORIN Admit this year? Over the years, the number of students UNILORIN admits has been increasing. This is due to the introduction of new Faculties and Departments.

Every year, 114,000 students apply to UNILORIN. But the UNILORIN admission board usually considers applicants based on some specific criteria. This include:

  • Catchment Areas like Oyo, Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, e.t.c
  • JAMB Score
  • SSCE (WAEC/NECO) Results
  • Post UTME Score, e.t.c.

It is important to note that out of the 41,000 people that apply to the UNILORIN and sit for the POST UTME Examination, UNILORIN will only admit 12,650 of these Students this Year. Those considered for admission into the UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN will be only those who scored the appropriate UNILORIN Cut Off Mark in JAMB and sat for the Post UTME.

  2. Perform well in your SSCE examinations by getting credits in all your relevant subjects.
  3. Join a serious UNILORIN Admission Group
  4. Buy and Study UNILORIN Post UTME Past Questions from 2010 till date
  5. Check UNILORIN Cut Off Mark for All Courses and know the cut-off mark for the courses you are applying for.
  6. Define your target and start practising and working towards it diligently.
  7. Keep your ears open and be informed about the latest updates and admission news in UNILORIN. You can contact us for that
  8. When you are filling your POST UTME Form, put in your major choice course as your first choice while your second choice should be a course related to it. E.g. Mechanical and Production Engineering. Do not fill in the same course twice to be on the safer side.
