However, Nigerian Idol is a tv reality show that has been on since 2010 till date during the 50th anniversary of our country Nigeria with the tagline “Live Your dreams and Accept no limitation”.

The show which has its first season in October 2010 began it’s audition for people within the age limits of 18 and 28 and was aired across over 15 different channels across the African Continent.

  • meet the most basic criteria of residing in Nigeria.
  • likewise be a Nigerian Citizen by Birth only.
  • not come to the audition venue with designer dresses.
  • not participate again if the applicant has before any taken part in any season of the Nigerian Idol competition before.

IMPORTANT;- All applicants should come along with two ID forms on the day of registration as drivers’ license or birth certificates are not allowed.

How To Register For Nigerian Idol Audition 2020

Registration for Nigerian Idol Season 6 is strictly done online. All we need is for you to complete the online entry form, and upload a video of your singing audition.

Here is how to register for Nigerian Idol Season 6;

1. Please fill in you personal details. This is required so you can be contacted should your audition be successful. The details includes your name, passport number, email address, phone/WhatsApp number and address. Go to to do so.

2. Upload your audition video.

Your audition should not be longer than 30 seconds, so chose the part of your song that best shows off your voice.

3. No instruments or backtracks are allowed.

4. Should your audition be successful you will be invited to audition in person in front of the Nigerian Idol judges

5. Participants must be between 16 – 30 years to participate.

6. Audition is only opened to Nigerian Citizens.
