Welcome to Big Brother Naija Season 6 Online Auditions
The online audition process starts on Wednesday, May 20 till Saturday, May 30, 2022. If you think you have what it takes to be a Housemate this season, then don’t hold back!
You are expected to record a two-minute video of yourself stating why you should be picked to be a Housemate in season 5 of Big Brother Naija. Only after recording your video, then you need to fill out the online registration form and upload your video below.
Please answer all questions on the form fully and honestly. If it is discovered that you have been deliberately untruthful or have withheld information relevant to your character or your past, you will be disqualified from the selection process.
The online audition is free and open to interested male and female participants, who are of Nigerian nationality with a valid Nigerian passport and must be 21 years of age by June 1, 2022.
SEASON ONE
The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. In a twist to the game, two new contestants were introduced on Day 23, much to the excitement of the remaining housemates.
Ebuka, the most popular housemate for several weeks into the show and widely believed to emerge the winner was the seventh housemate to be evicted; many viewers blame the Joe’s Fan Club (JFC) for his eviction. Joe himself was soon evicted from the show.
Big Brother added another twist to the game on day 79 by cancelling the day’s scheduled nominations and making the housemates believe they will instead be evicted based on their performances on assigned tasks while in reality no more evictions were held and viewers began voting for the winner who turned out to be 26-year-old Katung Aduwak.
SEASON TWO
The second season of Big Brother Nigeria (entitled Big Brother Naija) premiered 11 years after the first season on January 22, 2017. Efe Ejeba emerged winner of the second season in 2017.
SEASON THREE
The third season of Big Brother Nigeria (entitled Big Brother Naija) premiered on January 28th, 2018. Miracle Igbokwe from Imo State emerged winner of the third season in 2018.
SEASON 4
The fourth season of Big Brother Nigeria (entitled Big Brother Naija) premiered on June 30, 2019. Unlike previous years, the stage is set in Lagos, Nigeria.It was won by A record smashing Mercy.
The Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr John Ugbe, disclosed on Sunday, June 23, 2019 that the winner of the new season of the reality show will be given N60m worth of prizes.
This fourth edition started with 21 housemates. These housemates included Omashola, Avala, Khafi, Ike, Frodd, Ella, Nelson, Isilomo, Kimophra, Esther, Sir DEE, Tuoyo, Thelma, Sheyi, Diane, Jeff, Mike, Mercy, Tacha, Gedoni, and Jackye. 6 other housemates were added in pairs after some weeks in the house.

Let’s be honest, auditioning is pretty odd. It can feel very unnatural and often it’s the least creative environment for something that requires the most imagination and truth.
However, it can be the beginning to actualizing your dreams and goals.
Here are some survival tips you might want to adhere to.
1. Get to the venue as early as possible: The BBNaija audition starts at 7 am. Our advice? Get to the venue at 6 am.
2. Make Sure you bath, Brush your teeth and Use deodorant…You dont want to go and kill perzin there…lol
3. Put on a confident look and make sure you have something you want to sell.
4. Avoid carrying unnecessary stuff. Vital items only (Int’l passport and Phones)
5. Come with a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
6. Pay attention and obey all on- ground rules and instructions.
7. Take a lot of energy and swag with you to the audition.
8. Wear a confident look
9. Don’t go there without having nothing you want to sell
10. Most importantly, ensure you be yourself…Dont go there and be forming ascent upandan. Those guys auditioning are realy very intelligent and if they sense you are not being real, just forget it
11. Be honest as much as possibile
