It is also imperative to note that apart from school fees, students in UNN are also under compulsion to pay their faculty dues. This is usually around N2,500 (Two thousand, five hundred naira). Students who are just offered admission newly into the institution are required to pay their acceptance fee as soon as possible.

Important Notice: It is important to note that the school fees mentioned in this article does not include development fee and faculty dues which must be paid by new and old students of the university.
UNN students usually pay two development fees. One is for the University in general and the other is for the faculty. The first development fee is already included in the total fees in this page. However, when school activities begins, students will be required to pay another development fee. This money differs from faculty to faculty and is compulsory for any student that want to write his or her examination for the session.
How To Pay UNN School Fee Online
Having known the school fee for your course in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), I will now show you how to pay UNN school fees online. It is going to be a step by step guide accompanied with screenshot to help you understand the steps. Here we go!
READ UNIPORT School Fees 2024/2025 (Old and New Students)
- Step 1. Visit UNN website using the link below: www.unn.edu.ng
- Step 2. On the website menu, click on UNN portal.
- Step 3. Now, login using your matriculation number and password. If you are a new student, use your JAMB registration number.
- Step 4. Click on the school fee icon in the left side menu.
- Step 5. Click on “generate school fee invoice” to generate your payment invoice.
- Step 6. Simply fill the form by entering your Entry Level, current level and session.
- Step 7. Go to any commercial bank in your area and pay the fee in your invoice. Note that some banks will ask for an additional money to do the transaction.
- Step 8. After payment, the bank will give you a reference number. Go back to your UNN portal and click on “pay school fee”.
- Step 9. Now, enter the number in the space provided and click on pay.
If you followed this tutorial from step 1 to step 9, you have successfully paid you school fees.
NB: As I have explained previously, UNN school fee is not static. It changes every year and it also differs depending on the year of study. Consequently, before you rely on any of the above school fees, make sure you follow the steps on how to pay UNN school fees and generate a remita for payment. Usually, this remita will contain the exact amount you are supposed to pay as school fees to the school.
Also, New students are to note that the school fees above is not the same as acceptance fee. So even after paying your school fees, you will also have to pay your acceptance fee to show you have fully accepted the admission offered to you.
It will surprise you to know that UNN also offer newly admitted students the chance to get laptop from the university. This laptop is sold at the a very cheap rate. Students can even choose to pay by instalment.
The price for UNN laptop is 90,000. Students who want to pay by instalment must pay 120,000 in total. They are required to pay severally N30,000 until the money is complete.
