I wish i knew

1.    THE SPIRIT OF ‘I KNOW IT ALL’

Many first year students get is wrong from the start with the know it all attitude.. They claim to know it all and are usually too proud to ask questions. But they forget that “WHO NO GO, NO KNOW”. Be humble and let others carry you along.

2.  NO GUIDANCE AT ALL!

Lack of proper guidance has caused the downfall of so many 100 level students. Right from your resumption date, to your clearance, documentation, registrations, fees payment, reading, exam preparation and result you must be properly guided so you can avoid costly mistakes.

One of the mistakes university students make in their first year is trying to please everyone and avoid being the outcast. Remember that you came to the university alone and you will leave alone.

Also, 100level students usually brainwash themselves that classes in 100level are not important and that all you need to do is to read. Classes are important in

  • developing the habit of going to classes in your first year will help you and carry you on till your final year
