About KUST
Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil (KUST) was created as “Kano University of Technology” (KUT) in 2001. The then governor of Kano State, His Excellency Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso mulled the idea of establishing the first state university during his first tenure in the office between 1999 and 2003. It is located in Wudil, a Local Government in Kano State Nigeria. The university which was known as the Kano University of Technology, Wudil has been renamed as Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil in the year 2005 in conformity to the Gazette laws of the University. It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
KUST Admission Requirements
Requirements.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
- The candidate must make at least 150 pass marks in JAMB to qualify for internal screening by the Kano State University of Science and Technology.

WHAT IS A CUT-OFF MARK?
A Cut Off Mark is the benchmark in which a student must meet in his/her JAMB Utme Examination so as to be considered for a Post UTME Examination or direct admission by the management of the institution he/she wishes to attend.

However, qualified candidates who applied for admission into Computer Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemistry and Microbiology with UTME score less than what is stated above, can also register for their respective chosen programmes and the University may consider them for admission into other relevant programmes

- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin.
- Original copies of your O’Level Results (certificates and statements of result)
- Payment Registration Slip.
