The registration process for WAEC GCE walk-in candidates is designed to accommodate individuals who may have missed the regular registration window. This alternative registration method allows candidates to enroll for the examination on the day of the paper they intend to sit for.

To facilitate the process, walk-in candidates need to arrive early at the designated registration center with all necessary documentation, including identification and payment details. While walk-in registration provides a last-minute option, candidates are encouraged to adhere to the standard registration timelines for a smoother experience and to ensure all requirements are met.

This is to inform all the candidates that missed registering for the 2024 WAEC GCE during the normal registration window that they can utilize the opportunity of the new scheme introduced by the council, i.e. Walk-in candidates.

What is WAEC GCE Walk-in Candidates?

‘walk-in candidates’ is for intending candidates for the WASSCE for private candidates, who were unable to register during the normal registration period.

This scheme provides interested candidates to register and sit for the examination as ‘walk-in candidates’.

When the 2024 WAEC GCE Walk-in Candidates Registration Will Begin

The ’walk-in candidates’ registration will commence after the deadline for normal registration and continue throughout the duration of the examination.

How to Register for 2024 WAEC GCE as a Walk-in Candidates

Candidates who wish to register for the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated as “Walk-in-Candidates” provided they register not less than twenty four hours to the scheduled time of the paper (s) they intend to write. The “Walk-in- Candidates” fee is Forty Five Thousand Naira (N45, 000.00) only.
