About ESUT
The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) was originally founded as ASUTECH on July 30, 1980.
The University was conceived with the aim to establish an institution that must be closely related to society, its industry and above all, serve as a catalyst in the technological advancement of the people, hence the University’s motto remains, “Technology for Service”.

ESUT Admission Requirements
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
- The candidate must make at least 170 pass marks in JAMB except for Faculties of Medicine, Law and Pharmaceutical Sciences which is 200 to qualify for internal screening by the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

WHAT IS A CUT-OFF MARK?
A Cut Off Mark is the benchmark in which a student must meet in his/her JAMB Utme Examination so as to be considered for a Post UTME Examination or direct admission by the management of the institution he/she wishes to attend.
