University of Alaska Campus and Accommodations
The main campus of University of Alaska, Anchorage is situated in the center of a green area, nearby ponds, lakes and nature. University of Alaska Anchorage consists of eight different community campuses and research centers. Elmendorf Air Force Base offers training to approximately 1,000 civilian and military applicants at field and on site. Military courses are offered that are customized to address the specific needs of military members as obtaining a degree comes with added obstacles due to regular transfers.

University of Alaska Anchorage offers great housing options mostly through residential halls, apartments and special arrangements. Residence halls are home to nearly 200 students and contain common rooms with shared kitchens, study and social interaction lounges and laundry service.

Apartments are available at Main Apartment Complex and Templewood Apartments. The Main Apartment has four individual bedrooms with a shared kitchen, living room,bathroom, and store room. Templewood Apartment provides seventeen townhouse style apartments. Apartments are limited in number and are generally reserved for students above 21 years old.
